My name is Alex Fernandez.  I spent over two decades at IBM leading strategic growth and operational excellence initiatives in multi-billion dollar global organizations.

At IBM, I was the recipient of several highly coveted awards for designing and managing strategic growth projects. I received four IBM Excellence Awards, a Blue Ribbon Retention award, stock options reserved for select senior managers, and several marketing and sales awards.

As part of a select group of high-performance employees, I was handpicked for various management positions. Some examples are as follows:  General Manager: Education Industry/IBM Latin America; Business Development and Strategy Executive/Global Small and Medium Business; and notably, as Global Client Executive for a top competitor in the Silicon Valley, one of six strategic relationships selected by the IBM Chairman.

The challenges inherent in the execution of these diverse roles allowed me to build a unique multi-disciplinary skill set (see What We Offer) and to achieve exceptional results working at all levels of the organization.  I also gained expertise in developing and ushering complex global projects through the entire project cycle.

My expertise extends beyond my service for IBM and its clients.  It includes serving as an Independent Consultant for a Fortune 500 company as well as assisting smaller and start-up companies to expand to their maximum potential.  For more details go here.
